Reports to: Manager, General Manager, Inventory Control Manager

We are now searching for individuals to expand our team. We are seeking hip and talented individuals with a keen sense of appropriate professional demeanor and dress for an upscale dispensary. We expect exceptional customer service skills with experience within the cannabis industry, or as an alternative, a strong background in hospitality, retail merchandising or management outside the industry.

Position Summary:

Responsible for receiving all incoming orders, processing orders, communicating with drivers and coordinating their delivery schedules. This position is controls all functions of the delivery process except the delivery itself. Dispatchers must be extremely organized, vigilant and attentive during the entire delivery process.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Receive all incoming orders via: Phone, web & technology platforms
  • Monitor driver activity and ensure orders are being delivered within 20 mins of the order being placed
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with drivers, other dispatchers, production assistants and management

Qualifications and Skills

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of the cannabis industry including the variety of products and consumption methods . This is a MUST for this position.
  • Must be able to input and access information in the POS system, delivery systems, marketing outlets, computers, etc
  • Must be comfortable learning new skills
  • Must be vigilant in monitoring the entire delivery process
  • Must provide excellent customer service

Must be motivated, hard-working, and passionate. This position requires someone with the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.

  • Must have ability to:

n Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy

n Be a clear thinker, remain calm, and resolve problems using good judgment

n Follow through with all directions thoroughly

n Understand the entire delivery process and execute quickly and precisely

n Work cohesively as a team with co-workers

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • Valid California Medical Marijuana Dr.’s Recommendation

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit/stand/walk for up to 8 hours at a time
  • Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment
  • Must be well organized and understand the flow of product in a retail and delivery setting
  • Must be able to work days, nights, holidays, nights and weekends

Job Type: Full-time and Part-Time

Salary: $13.00 to $15.00 /hour Plus Bonuses

Experience:

  • Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
  • Receptionist: 1 year (Required)
  • Budtending: 1 year (Required)
